That the Parliament congratulates Electrical Safety First on winning the In-House Team of the Year (Public/Third Sector) award at the PRWeek Awards 2025; welcomes the charity’s hard work over the last year calling for government action on dangerous e-bikes and unsafe electrical products; notes that, despite having just a six-person communications team, its campaigns have generated over 3,500 media mentions, 3.1 million social media impressions and a 5.7% increase in brand recognition; recognises the organisation’s role in raising public awareness about electrical safety, including warning against buying cheap electricals from online marketplaces and advocating for safer e-bike regulation; believes that its work has contributed to shaping the Product Regulation and Metrology Act, and commends all staff and volunteers at Electrical Safety First for their dedication to improving electrical safety across the UK.
