That the Parliament congratulates Liz Cowan, who is from Motherwell, on winning Aldi Scotland’s Supermarket Sweep challenge in Motherwell; notes that Liz won a trolley-load of goods while raising £456.89 for CHAS, with Aldi Scotland generously matching the value of the haul and donating the proceeds to the charity; understands that CHAS provides vital support to over 500 babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families across Scotland; notes that, in 2025, every penny raised through the Supermarket Sweep will go directly to CHAS, with Aldi Scotland pledging £10,000 in support; commends both Liz and Aldi Scotland for their contribution to this important cause, and recognises the positive impact such initiatives have in sustaining the work of CHAS and strengthening community support for families in need.
