That the Parliament congratulates the Motherwell branch of Hays Travel on raising £1,800 for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland through a successful ladies’ afternoon tea event held at the Moorings Hotel; understands that the charity supports more than 3,500 children, young people and adults across Scotland who are living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, providing essential services, including family support, health advice and advocacy; notes that this fundraising was part of Hays Travel’s Local Community Partnership initiative, which has contributed over £177,000 to charities nationwide since 2023; commends the Motherwell team for their commitment to giving back to their community while raising awareness of spina bifida and hydrocephalus, and recognises the importance of community businesses supporting vital health charities through fundraising and partnership
