North Lanarkshire Council Success at the Herald Property Awards 2025

That the Parliament congratulates North Lanarkshire Council on winning the Best Renovation and Conversion category at what it sees as the prestigious Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025, for the transformation of the former YMCA building in Motherwell; recognises that this project, which was delivered in partnership with CCG (Scotland) Ltd and Coltart Earley Architecture and supported by the Scottish Government, has successfully combined high-quality design with renewable technologies; commends all involved with preserving and repurposing an important landmark while creating modern, sustainable homes, and believes that this award highlights the positive impact that innovation, partnership working and a commitment to sustainability can have in communities across Scotland.
