That the Parliament congratulates Light of Bengal, based on Rose Street in Aberdeen city centre, on winning an award at the Scottish Asian Food Awards 2025; notes that the awards, which were held on Monday 13 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, are in their sixth year, and celebrate the talent and innovation that have shaped the Asian food scene across Scotland; notes that Light of Bengal was named Bangladeshi Restaurant of the Year; believes that this recognises not just the high quality of food and service at Light of Bengal, but also the vibrancy of Aberdeen’s Asian food culture; hopes that everyone at Light of Bengal is proud of this achievement, and wishes them all the best with their endeavours in the future.
