Neilston Family-run Business Shares 60-year Milestone

That the Parliament congratulates the Neilston haulier company, J&M Murdoch and Sons, on reaching its 60th anniversary of business; understands that, Andrew Murdoch, who is the managing director of the company, praised the two key components of his business that have led to the continued decades of success, hard work and dedication; commends each staff member who has been employed for J&M Murdoch and Sons on its decades of excellence, alongside its continual efforts to bring good customer service to the people of Neilston; acknowledges that Andrew, his brother, his sister and another managing director, Tony Cairns, have all been integral to the expansion of the business since they took over from the Murdoch parents in the early 1990s, and believes that their continual hard work has led to its expansion to 170 employees; commends the company on celebrating the occasion with a fun day held at its base, which was open to all those related to the company and proved very successful; understands that J&M Murdoch and Sons has been a staple of the community in Neilston for decades, and wishes J&M Murdoch and Sons all the best in its future endeavours.
