Organisations in Motherwell and Wishaw Receive Funding from the National Lottery Community Fund

That the Parliament congratulates organisations across Motherwell and Wishaw on receiving funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that St Brigid's Senior Citizens Club received a £6,400 grant, Cleland Gala Day received a £7,500 grant, Newmains and District Gala Day received a £10,500 grant, Newmains Community Trust Ltd received a £20,000 grant, and a further £247,662 grant, Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme received a £3,832 grant, Friendship Club for Over 50 received a £4,000 grant, Glencairn Primary School received a £11,166 grant, LAMH Recycle Limited received a £20,000 grant, Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust received a £20,000 grant, Made 4U in ML2 received a £20,000 grant, ML2 Action Sports Group - Socialtrack received a £20,000 grant, and that The Miracle Foundation SCIO received a £290,000 grant; understands that the National Lottery Community Fund distributes funding on behalf of National Lottery players who raise more than £30 million each week for good causes throughout the UK; recognises that, in 2024, the National Lottery Community Fund awarded over half a billion pounds of life-changing funding to communities across the UK, and wishes all organisations in receipt of the funding all the very best in the work that they carry out in the local community.
