That the Parliament commends all at Aldi stores across North Lanarkshire, including the Motherwell and Wishaw store, for donating almost 8,000 meals to families in need during the 2025 summer holidays; recognises that all the branches took part in this effort by redistributing surplus food to charities and foodbanks through the community giving platform, Neighbourly; believes that this support came at a time of increasing reliance on foodbanks, as more families face financial hardship due to rising living costs, and praises the continued commitment of Aldi, its staff and community partners in responding to food insecurity and reducing food waste in communities across North Lanarkshire.
