That the Parliament welcomes the partnership between New College Lanarkshire and Sureserve Energy Services UK to deliver new training and career opportunities in North Lanarkshire; notes that the initiative aims to develop a skilled workforce to make homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient, while supporting a growing sustainable industry; further notes that the programme offers modern apprenticeships, upskilling and digital learning opportunities, as well as pathways up to degree level; recognises the potential for participants to gain valuable skills, build confidence and pursue rewarding careers in a sector with real demand, and commends all involved for providing these opportunities, which support local people and contribute to Scotland’s green economy.
