Big Barbecue Raises Funds for Les Hoey DreamMaker MBE Foundation

That the Parliament congratulates the organisers, volunteers and attendees of the Big Barbecue charity event, which was held at Gleddoch House in Langbankband and successfully raised over £3,700 for the Les Hoey DreamMaker MBE Foundation; believes that the foundation provides invaluable support to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, helping to improve their quality of life during extremely challenging times; recognises the dedication of Les Hoey MBE from Coltness, and the foundation team, in delivering memorable experiences and support for these children and their families; acknowledges the generosity and community spirit of everyone involved in making the event a success; commends the local businesses, donors and supporters who contributed to the fundraising, and encourages continued efforts to support charitable organisations that make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children and their loved ones across Scotland.
