That the Parliament congratulates Braidhurst High School in Motherwell on winning the 2025 Girls’ Under-15 Shield Final, held at Falkirk Stadium; recognises the outstanding achievement of both Braidhurst High School and Wallace High School in reaching the final of this prestigious national schools football competition; commends the skill, dedication and sportsmanship demonstrated by all players, coaches and school staff involved; acknowledges the growing importance of school sport in promoting health, wellbeing and teamwork among young people; celebrates the increasing visibility and success of girls' football across Scotland, and believes that events like this showcase the vital role of school-level competitions in nurturing future talent and supporting the continued development of women’s sport nationwide.
