That the Parliament congratulates the young pupils from Trinity Primary School in Edinburgh for delivering an inspiring and insightful presentation as part of the Sir Sean Connery Foundation project, in partnership with Dyslexia Scotland, the City of Edinburgh Council and Mission Dyslexia; notes that the pupils spoke with great passion and honesty about their personal experiences of being supported with dyslexia, the challenges they continue to face, and their thoughtful suggestions for improving learning opportunities for all; believes that their voices had a powerful impact during the recent meeting of the Cross-Party Group on Dyslexia, where members were deeply moved and encouraged by the pupils’ contributions, and expresses its hope that their views will be reflected in future policy and practice, ensuring that all children and young people with dyslexia are empowered to thrive.
