That the Parliament recognises Tracey Howe for her efforts to raise funds for charity by walking the coastline of mainland Britain; understands that Tracey’s wife, Angela White, sadly passed away in 2023 following an initial diagnosis of a brain tumour and an eventual diagnosis of the blood cancers, myeloma and amyloidosis; further understands that 60-year-old Tracey and her dog, Poppy, will set off from the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow on 1 November 2024 and return 365 days later; applauds Tracey’s target of raising £100,000 for five different charities, including Brainstrust, Marie Curie, the Beatson Cancer Charity, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, and wishes Tracey and Poppy well in their long trek ahead.
