That the Parliament understands that the Citizens Advice network across Scotland helped over 187,100 people in 2022-23, providing over 670,000 advice issues in the process; further understands that this resulted in £142.3 million being unlocked for clients; understands that Citizens Advice bureaux clients who saw a gain, after having sought advice, were on average £3,700 better off, and that over 2.5 million people accessed information through online advice pages on the Advice for Scotland website; further understands that every £1 invested returns £14 of value; thanks all staff and volunteers of Citizens Advice bureaux in Scotland for their continued dedication and hard work, and calls on the Scottish Government to ensure that Citizens Advice bureaux, and all who provide welfare rights advice, are fully resourced and supported.
