Best Indian Establishment - Madras Café

That the Parliament congratulates Madras Café, in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, on winning Best Indian Establishment at the 2023 Food Awards Scotland; understands that, now in its ninth year, the Food Awards Scotland is an annual event that recognises and honours the achievements of restaurants, cafes, chefs, producers and other culinary professionals around Scotland; believes that The Food Awards Scotland provides a platform that unites food lovers, professionals, and enthusiasts to celebrate the heart and soul of Scotland’s food industry and allows the winners to celebrate their achievements; notes that other restaurants nominated for this award include Swadish by Ajay Kumar, also in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, and Rohan’s Kitchen in Glasgow; recognises Madras Café’s achievement in winning Best Indian Establishment, and wishes it every success in its future endeavours.
