  • Motion reference: S6M-09854

That the Parliament congratulates Diversified on winning the Charity of the Year award at the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) 2023 Scottish Charity Awards; understands that the organisation, which is based in Livingston, is the first autistic youth-led charity in Scotland to be designed and led by autistic young people under 18; further understands that it uses lived experience to provide innovative services and specialist facilities to give neurodivergent young people social, wellbeing and alternative learning opportunities that they otherwise would not be able to access; welcomes the ongoing success of SCVO’s annual Scottish Charity Awards; celebrates the achievements of all 32 finalists in the 2023 awards, and notes what it sees as the important role that the event plays in highlighting the incredible efforts of organisations and individuals across Scotland’s voluntary sector.
