SIX Musical at Bell Baxter High School

That the Parliament congratulates Bell Baxter High School, in Cupar, on the incredible success of the production, SIX: Teen Edition, by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, which was a “histo-remix” staged at the school over three evenings, as well as a Saturday matinee performance; recognises the outstanding talents of the actors, Ruth Egerton, who played Catherine of Aragon, Emily Glasgow, who played Anne Boleyn, Anna Duncan, who played Jane Seymour, Iona McPhail, who played Anne of Cleeves, Georgia Thompson, who played Katherine Howard, and Mairi Ironside, who played Catherine Parr; further recognises the hard work of the backstage crew and teaching staff from the Faculty of Expressive Arts, including the musical director, Craig McNicol, the director, Richard Robb, the choreographer, Ruth Egerton, and the costume designer, Jessica Macleod, in producing this first-class musical, and notes the impressive efforts of the school to extend the invitation to see the show to the wider community.
