Globetrotting Lanarkshire Grandad Raises £50,000 for Diabetes Charity

That the Parliament congratulates Hamilton carer, Brian Thomson, on spending the last decade trekking the globe in thrilling adventures to raise money for Diabetes UK; further congratulates the Lanarkshire grandad on raising £50,000 for the charity, following his daughter’s diabetes diagnosis, and recognises that that Brian has completed some remarkable accomplishments over the years, including climbing Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro, reaching Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, trekking the Great Wall of China, completing a 10,000 foot skydive and most recently camping in the Arctic Circle for the Arctic Husky Challenge.
