Jim Pettigrew Steps Down as Chair of Dundee Heritage Trust

That the Parliament notes that Jim Pettigrew has stepped down as Chair of the Dundee Heritage Trust; understands that Mr Pettigrew has held the role for nearly three years, successfully guiding the trust through the challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic and a period of redevelopment at the Trust’s flagship, Discovery Point; believes that Mr Pettigrew’s work has set the Trust up for a long period of success, where it will continue to meet its stated aim of guardianship, preservation, and portrayal of Dundee’s Heritage in ways that educate, inspire and enlighten current and future generations; understands that Mr Pettigrew has held a number of key roles in a long, successful career, including President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and Chairman of the Scottish Financial Services industry body SFE, serving also a three-year term as co-chair of Scotland’s Financial Services Advisory Board with the First Minister of Scotland and Chairman of Virgin Money and CYBG plc, having overseen a successful period of restructuring and acquisition; thanks the Heritage Trust’s Board of Trustees and Mr Pettigrew for their work, and wishes them the very best for the future.
