50th Anniversary of Whitecrook Early Learning Centre

That the Parliament celebrates the 50 Year Anniversary of Whitecrook Early Learning Centre (ELC); understands that the ELC has been at the heart of the community since it opened on 25 March 1972, and has played a key role in supporting families and their children for many years; notes that the ELC currently cares for 120 children and has close links with local groups and organisations, including St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Clydebank Women’s Aid, and Centre 81 Community Centre; understands that Whitecrook aims to create a safe and nurturing environment for children through interactive activities such as cookery classes, craft days, and music and book bug sessions, all of which include involvement of parents and carers; thanks the staff for all of their hard work, and congratulates Whitecrook ELC for reaching this important milestone.
