Recognising the Service of Canon Gerry Tartaglia to Clydebank

  • Submitted by: Marie McNair, Clydebank and Milngavie, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 03 October 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-05871

That the Parliament thanks Canon Gerry Tartaglia for his 18 years of service as he moves on to become the new parish priest in Holy Family and St Ninian’s Parish, Kirkintilloch; understands that he served as the parish priest to Our Holy Redeemer’s and St Margaret’s Parishes in Clydebank, as well as a chaplain in local high schools; recognises what it considers the hard work and dedication that was put into the role, not only for his parishioners, but for the community of Clydebank as a whole, and wishes Canon Gerry Tartaglia all the best for the future.
