Amanda Bryce's Fundraising Swim with Sharks

That the Parliament congratulates Amanda Bryce for overcoming her fears and swimming with sharks to raise almost £2,000 for University Hospital Wishaw neonatal unit and the hospital’s counselling service; understands that Amanda decided to take on the challenge to mark 10 years since her baby son's death at the hospital at just three days old; acknowledges what it sees as the great work and dedication by bereavement specialist midwife and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy registered counsellor, Elaine Hamilton, who it understands works tirelessly, supporting parents and families, who have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal deaths; commends Amanda for overcoming her fears and praises Elaine for delivering counselling and trauma therapy services for bereaved families, and recognises what it sees as the vital importance of such services across the country today.
