That the Parliament congratulates Ayrshire College and its students as they are chosen to partnership BBC Radio Scotland; notes that this partnership has been labelled as the first-of-its-kind and understands that it will give students experience of recording live performance to broadcast quality; further notes that three students at Ayrshire College have already been involved in the first project of the partnership, which was a recording session from the band, Petty Preachers Club, at the college’s Ayr Campus; understands that Ayrshire College has had a strong relationship with the BBC over the years, which has led to several music students achieving airtime on BBC Radio Scotland; understands that Ayrshire College has first-class recording facilities, which allows students to build on their musical talent, and wishes Ayrshire College’s students and staff well as their partnership with the BBC continues.
