Glasgow Airport's Busiest Summer on Record

That the Parliament recognises Glasgow Airport's busiest summer on record with more than three million people passing through the terminal during the peak months of June, July and August 2017; notes that 14 July was its busiest day, with its staff welcoming nearly 40,000 passengers, loading 1,800 tons of luggage and managing 343 flights; understands that air traffic has continued to grow domestically and internationally, and applauds all of the staff involved in the successful running of the airport.
