To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking to address the reported 17% increase in recorded hate crime charges in 2025-26, including rises in race, sexual orientation and disability-aggravated charges, alongside providing appropriate support to victims and affected communities.

To ask the Scottish Government what assessment it has made of the impact of the expansion of Hospital at Home on waits of at least 12 hours in Emergency Departments over the last five years, in light of reports that waits have continued to rise, with more than 44,000 patients experiencing such a wait in 2026 to date, which is approximately 9,000 more tha the same period last year.

To ask the Scottish Government what proportion of electricity generated by Berwick Bank offshore windfarm is expected to be (a) exported outwith Scotland and (b) purchased by data centres, such as the proposed QTS data centre at Cambois, Northumberland, where Berwick Bank offshore windfarm is planned to connect to the grid.

The Berwick Bank offshore wind farm consent and marine licences, granted in July 2025, included export cables to a grid connection point at Branxton, located south-west of Torness Power Station. Following the National Grid Electricity Systems Operator (NGESO) Holistic Network Review in 2022, an additional grid connection at Blyth, Northumberland (referred to as the Cambois connection) was also identified and a separate marine licence application was submitted by SSE Renewables and a marine licence granted in August 2025. No further information was provided through the Section 36/marine licence application process as to the onward use of electricity once exported to the grid.

To ask the Scottish Government, in relation to the Seabird Compensation Plan, which the developer of Berwick Bank offshore windfarm is required to prepare as a condition of its section 36 consent, whether it expects compensation activities set out in the plan to be delivered in Scotland and the UK, and whether it would consider activities delivered elsewhere in Europe and around the world to be eligible for inclusion in the plan.

Each project specific Seabird Compensation Plan is considered on case by case basis in line with regulation and relevant guidance – it would not be appropriate to comment further on the content of individual Seabird Compensation Plans until they are submitted. There is nothing in regulations to preclude Seabird Compensation Plans including compensation measures delivered outside Scotland or the UK as long as it can be demonstrated that the compensatory measures proposed benefit the UK Marine Protected Area network.
