Decision on Taking Business in Private
Good morning and welcome to the 17th meeting in 2017 of the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee. First, I point out that the committee will observe a minute’s silence at 11 o’clock this morning as a mark of respect for those who died in, and those who have been affected by the incident in London on Saturday evening. I will suspend the meeting just before 11 am, and a tannoy announcement will be made at the start and end of the silence.
I also remind everyone present to switch off mobile phones and so on because they might affect the broadcasting system. The committee has received apologies from our colleagues Maurice Golden, Kate Forbes and David Stewart.
Agenda item 1 is a decision on taking business in private. Does the committee agree to take item 4 in private?
