Item 1 is a decision on taking business in private. It is proposed that the committee discuss items 3 and 4 in private. Item 3 is consideration of the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 2011 (SSI 2011/331), and in particular the evidence taken on the instrument. Item 4 is consideration of a draft report on Scottish statutory instruments laid in 2010. It should be noted that the committee will return to public session to confirm its conclusions on the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 2011 once it has considered the evidence presented to it.
