Deputy Convener

Item 3 is to choose a deputy convener. Parliament has agreed that only members of the Labour Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener of the committee. I understand that Jayne Baxter is the Labour Party’s nominee for the post. Do we agree to choose her as our deputy convener?

Members indicated agreement.

I congratulate Jayne on her appointment. I look forward to working with her and the other committee members.
