Thank you, Alex. Our third agenda item is the selection of a deputy convener. Members have before them a note from the clerk that sets out the procedure for selecting a deputy convener. As you will see, the procedure is similar to the procedure that is used to select the convener of a committee.
I invite nominations for the position of deputy convener.
I would be delighted to nominate David Stewart.
