Thank you and welcome to our new committee. I look forward to working with Jean Urquhart and Fiona McLeod.
Item 3 is to choose a deputy convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish National Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener of the committee. I understand that Fiona McLeod is the party’s nominee for that post.
Fiona McLeod was chosen as deputy convener.
I congratulate Fiona McLeod on her appointment.
