Item 2 is to choose a convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish Labour Party are eligible for nomination as convener of the committee. I am therefore pleased to say that Anne McTaggart is the Scottish Labour Party’s nominee for that post.
Anne McTaggart was chosen as convener.
I congratulate Anne McTaggart on her appointment and hand over the chair to her for the remainder of proceedings.
