“Using locum doctors in hospitals”

The final item in the public part of our meeting concerns a briefing on the section 23 report, “Using locum doctors in hospitals”. However, we still have a couple of items to deal with in private session this afternoon.

Given what we said in our previous item of business, I do not want to do the Auditor General and his team a disservice by hurrying through this item of business. If members want to take the briefing today, we can do that. However, we could postpone the discussion until our next meeting, in September. Do we agree to do that?

Members indicated agreement.

In that case, we will move to item 6, which we will deal with in private.
