Public Records (Scotland) Bill: Stage 1

There are but three delegated powers in the bill and our advisers have raised a question on one of them.

Do members agree to ask the Scottish Government for further explanation of why the powers in section 2(7) are required?

Members indicated agreement.

We will be considering the Government’s response, along with our draft report, at our meeting on 18 January, in the new year.
