The one proposal that I have to report is that, if the committee gave leave, it would be appropriate for us to write to the Minister for Justice about the recent disturbances in HM Prison Shotts, to ask him to report to us after his meeting with the chief executive of the Scottish Prison Service pro tem and to keep us informed, rather than leaving us to find out what is happening through the usual channels. Is the committee content with that?
