Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the 11th meeting in 2008 of the Equal Opportunities Committee. I remind everyone that mobile phones and BlackBerrys should be switched off completely, as they interfere with the sound system even when they are switched to silent.

Under agenda item 1, we must decide whether to take items 3, 4 and 5 in private. Those items will involve discussions about witnesses who wish to give evidence to the committee—it would therefore be sensible for them to be taken in private. Do members agree?
