Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (Murdo Fraser)

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the fifth meeting in 2016 of the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee. I welcome committee members; our witnesses, to whom I will come in a moment; and the visitors in the gallery, and I remind everyone to please turn off or at least turn to silent all mobile phones and other electronic devices to ensure that they do not interfere with the committee’s work. We have received apologies from the deputy convener, Dennis Robertson, as well as from Patrick Harvie, who has to be at the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee but hopes to join us shortly.

Agenda item 1 is consideration of whether to take our session 4 legacy paper in private at future meetings. Do members agree?

Members indicated agreement.
