Decision Time

There are three questions to be put as a result of today's business. The first is that motion S3M-4948, in the name of Iain Smith, on the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee's report, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament notes the conclusions and recommendations contained in the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee's 7th Report, 2009 (Session 3): Determining and delivering on Scotland's energy future (SP Paper 313).

The second question is that motion S3M-4952, in the name of Bruce Crawford, on behalf of the Parliamentary Bureau, on the suspension of standing orders, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament agrees that, for the purpose of question 1 at First Minister's Question Time on Thursday 1 October 2009, Rule 13.7.4 of Standing Orders be suspended.

The third question is that motion S3M-4953, in the name of Bruce Crawford, on behalf of the Parliamentary Bureau, on the approval of a Scottish statutory instrument, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament agrees that the draft Mutual Recognition of Criminal Financial Penalties in the European Union (Scotland) Order 2009 be approved.
