Subordinate Legislation

The next item of business is consideration of Parliamentary Bureau motion S1M-307. I ask Iain Smith to move that motion on behalf of the Parliamentary Bureau.

The motion is rather dryly phrased, but the order will start to move the spending priorities of the Government towards those set out in the partnership agreement and the programme for government. It deals in particular with the £80 million of additional money for education.

I move,

That the Parliament agrees that the draft Scotland Act 1998 (Transitory and Transitional Provisions) (Appropriations) Amendment Order 1999 be approved.
