There are two questions as a result of today’s business. The first question is, that motion S4M-07610, in the name of Nicola Sturgeon, on the Scottish Independence Referendum Bill, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament agrees to the general principles of the Scottish Independence Referendum Bill.

The next question is, that motion S4M-07569, in the name of John Swinney, on the financial resolution for the Scottish Independence Referendum Bill, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament, for the purposes of any Act of the Scottish Parliament resulting from the Scottish Independence Referendum Bill, agrees to any expenditure of a kind referred to in Rule 9.12.3(b) of the Parliament’s Standing Orders arising in consequence of the Act.
