The next item of business is consideration of motion S4M-01980, in the name of Brian Adam, on membership of the regional chamber of the congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe and the Committee of the Regions.
Motion moved,
That the Parliament endorses the Scottish Government’s proposal to nominate, as representatives of the Parliament, Bill Kidd MSP as a full member and Helen Eadie MSP as an alternate member on the UK delegation to the regional chamber of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, and Stewart Maxwell MSP and Patricia Ferguson MSP as full members and Jim Hume MSP and Jamie McGrigor MSP as alternate members on the UK delegation to the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current parliamentary session to 2016.—[Brian Adam.]
