There are two questions to be put as a result of today’s business. The first question is, that motion S4M-11048, in the name of Michael Matheson, on the Food (Scotland) Bill, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament agrees to the general principles of the Food (Scotland) Bill.

The Presiding Officer

The next question is, that motion S4M-10555, in the name of John Swinney, on the financial resolution to the Food (Scotland) Bill, be agreed to.

Motion agreed to,

That the Parliament, for the purposes of any Act of the Scottish Parliament resulting from the Food (Scotland) Bill, agrees to—

 

(a) any expenditure of a kind referred to in Rule 9.12.3(b) of the Parliament’s Standing Orders arising in consequence of the Act, and

 

(b) any charge or payment in relation to which Rule 9.12.4 of the Standing Orders applies arising in consequence of the Act.
