Parliamentary Bureau Motions

The next item of business is consideration of four Parliamentary Bureau motions. I ask George Lyon to move motion S2M-4030, on the designation of a lead committee; motions S2M-4031 and S2M-4032, on the approval of statutory instruments; and motion S2M-4035, on the establishment of a committee.

Motions moved,

That the Parliament agrees that the Justice 1 Committee be designated as lead committee in consideration of the Criminal Proceedings etc. (Reform) (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1.

That the Parliament agrees that the draft Transfer of Functions from the Strathclyde Passenger Transport Authority and the Strathclyde Passenger Transport Executive to the West of Scotland Transport Partnership Order 2006 be approved.

That the Parliament agrees that the draft National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Order 2006 be approved.

That the Parliament agrees to establish a committee of the Parliament as follows:

Name of Committee: Glasgow Airport Rail Link Bill Committee;
Remit: To consider and report to the Parliament on the Glasgow Airport Rail Link Bill;
Duration: Until the Bill has received Royal Assent, falls or is withdrawn;
Convenership: The Convener and the Deputy Convener will be members of the Labour Party;
Membership: Mr Andrew Arbuckle, Marlyn Glen, Margaret Jamieson, Michael Matheson, Mr Brian Monteith.—[George Lyon.]
