Scalpay Island, Isle of Skye, Scallops Several Fishery Order 2018 (SSI 2018/245)
Item 3 is consideration of a negative instrument on the Scalpay scallops. The instrument grants an exclusive right to fish for scallops in the area of Scalpay island, near the Isle of Skye. The Scottish Government wrote to the committee to clarify several points that I raised as committee convener. We have received no motions to annul the instrument.
Does the committee agree that it does not wish to make any recommendation in relation to the instrument?
