Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (James Dornan)

Good morning. I welcome everyone to the ninth meeting of the Education and Skills Committee in 2018. I remind everyone present to turn their mobile phones and other devices to silent for the duration of the meeting. We have received apologies from Oliver Mundell, and Michelle Ballantyne is attending in his place. Tavish Scott and Ross Greer are attending the Finance and Constitution Committee’s stage 2 consideration of the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill this morning and have also passed on their apologies.

The first item of business is a decision on whether to take agenda item 4 in private. It is a review of the evidence from the minister. Is everyone content that agenda item 4 be taken in private?

Members indicated agreement.
