Interests

Good morning and welcome to the 29th meeting in 2012 of the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee. I remind all members to turn off their mobile phones and other electronic devices. Before we get into agenda item 2, I welcome Katy Orr, who is our new senior assistant clerk and who is hiding at the back of the room.

I also welcome Alison Johnstone, who is a new member of the committee, and invite her to declare any relevant interests.

I draw members’ attention to my register of interests, which lists the organisations of which I am a member and supporter. In addition, I have a family member who is employed by the Edinburgh tattoo, which may have some relevance to tourism issues.
