Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (Scotland) Regulations 2001 (SSI 2001/433)

Item 3 is consideration of a negative instrument—the Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (Scotland) Regulations 2001 (SSI 2001/433). As members will see from the covering note, the regulations were laid on 23 November 2001 and we are required to report by 7 January 2002. No members have indicated to the clerk that they wish clarification of any of the points covered by the regulations. I advise members that the Subordinate Legislation Committee considered the regulations at its meeting on 4 December 2001 and determined that the attention of the Parliament need not be drawn to the regulations.
