Disability Commissioner (Scotland) Bill - Financial Memorandum

Overview

The Bill will establish a Disability Commissioner for Scotland, whose primary purpose will be to promote and safeguard the rights of disabled people. The Commissioner will be appointed by and accountable to the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body but will be independent from Government.
