Letter from the Minister for Parliamentary Business to the Convener - 19 October 2021
Thank you for your letter of 6 October.
The Bill raises a number of issues in relation to the specific devolved area of economic development, but with the potential for the Bill to impact many other areas of devolved competence. The Scottish Government has been considering carefully those issues and I expect to be in a position to lodge an LCM around the time Commons Committee stage is due to commence, which I understand is likely to be 26 October.
I am copying this letter to Stuart McMillan MSP, Convener of the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee and Ivan McKee MSP, Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise.
