Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning, and a very warm welcome to the 12th meeting in 2018 of the Social Security Committee. I remind everyone to turn mobile phones and other devices to silent so that they do not disrupt the meeting or the broadcasting.

We have received apologies from Jeremy Balfour. Today will be Adam Tomkins’s last appearance at the committee. I thank him very much for his service to the committee and wish him all the best in his new parliamentary duties.

Our first agenda item is a decision on whether to take in private items 3 and 4. Does the committee agree to take those items in private?
