During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

This was a Government Bill



Bill becomes an Act

The Bill was passed on 27 June 2013 and became an Act on 7 August 2013

If the Bill is passed by MSPs, it can then get Royal Assent and become an Act.
